Last year, esteemed composer and pianist Henrik Lindstrand released ‘Klangland’, which featured a stirring 16-piece string section. His track ‘Hvid’ was dedicated to Swedish jazz of the 1960s as well as exploring space between notes and the beauty of simplicity.

Pioneering German experimentalist Alva Noto has remodelled the track into a textured ambient piece that delves further into that expressive restraint. This is simply incredible and a firm Decoded favourite.
