British electronic producer, DJ and one of the leading names in progressive house and techno, Cristoph kicks off 2023 with the announcement of his latest and most-careering defining project to date, ‘FaCet’. A new concept which is debuting on his own label Consequence of Society in March, the first taster arrives today with two new tracks, ‘Tha Music’ and ‘You’.

2023 sets Cristoph onto a new pathway as he releases his first new music of the year. ‘FaCet’ is set to showcase his many different styles, genres and musical influences, with the opening two new tracks meticulously crafted by the Newcastle-born artist, once again demonstrating his impeccable ability to conjure euphoric moments for late-night and early-morning dance floors.

“The concept around this release is to showcase my music across different genres. The word ‘facet’ means ‘one side of something many-sided’, and I believe this release reflects that in the tracks I have chosen.

Each release of FaCet is part of a journey, in the same way, my sets bring people on a journey when I DJ. Producing music in different genres allows me to open up as an artist and ‘FaCet’ is an example of this. It gives me the opportunity to grow and evolve as an artist, while at the same time, it challenges me to advance my production techniques.

I’m constantly pushing myself to go to the next level, and ‘FaCet’ is just the start of what’s to come.” – Cristoph

Hailing from the North East city of Newcastle, Cristoph has distinguished himself as a mainstay amongst the house and techno circuit. It was evident from the start that Cristoph was destined for success, picking up early support from the likes of Eric Prdyz, John Digweed, Hot Since 82 and Camelphat.

Year after year, Cristoph continues to add to his already remarkable discography of releases on labels including Bedrock, Last Night On Earth, Truesoul, Knee Deep in Sound, Yoshi Toshi, and Selador. On the live circuit, he’s a regular at the likes of Tomorrowland, Hideout, Parklife, Ultra Miami, Hï Ibiza and many more.

Cristoph’s unique style has led to the creation of some stunning tunes over the years; 2018 saw him collaborate with Camelphat to release the global dance music hit, Breathe. With videos of the track sending clubbers into overdrive from Ibiza and beyond, Breathe arrived on Eric Prydz’s ‘Pryda Presents’ label in November 2018. Crossing over to receive commercial success as well as dominating the underground circuit, Breathe reached the top 40 singles chart, along with being certified gold in the UK. The track also received a momentous reception in the U.S. peaking at number 21 on the U.S. Billboard dance club songs chart.

After numerous successful global singles which continue to build and be adored by his ever-growing global fanbase, 2022 saw him launch his own label titled Consequence of Society – a platform initially only for his own productions, with close friends and like-minded artists set to feature in the not-too-distant future.
