Following his ‘Aurora’ EP, Fioretti lands his second EP release on Yousef’s Circus Recordings with ‘Colours’. Fioretti sits on the label roster alongside the likes of Alan Fitzpatrick, Gorgon City and Scuba who have released on the imprint in recent years.
Arriving as a three track EP ‘Colours’ brings a similar peak-time energy to his previous work, this time with more focus on the emotive essence of house music. The title track draws inspiration from piano driven classics from the 90’s, with Fioretti naming Frankie Knuckles, David Morales and Satoshi Tomiie as a few artists who have impacted his sound. ‘Giving Up’ arrives with an enticing groove and hypnotic vocals from Kieran Fowkes, whilst ‘Plantoon’ closes the EP with an emotional, cinematic and now signature sound from one of Italy’s next generation of excellent producers.
‘Colours’ early support has seen the track featured in live mixes, such as, Yousef’s “The First Dance” in Liverpool as well as getting nods of approval from the likes of Nic Fanciulli, Noizu and Dombre. In previous successes, Fioretti boasts inclusions on Yousef’s live at EDC compilation in 2020 that featured tracks from him among side other mainstays from the label. Other prior releases have seen him collaborate with NYC house artist Harry Romero on Toolroom as well as a remix for house and techno icon Steve Lawler on Circus Recordings last year.
With each track accompanied by a radio edit, Circus Recordings has high hopes for the Turin born, Italian DJ & producer following his previous successes.
