Ibiza Global Radio has announced a free, two-day music festival, taking place this weekend, which will feature guest appearances by Luciano, Nic Fanciulli, Rekeka Brown, Sólskin, Dish Dash and others.

The Ibiza Global Festival has been developed as a ‘sustainable music festival’, and will take place on San Antonio’s S’Arenal beach. The event runs from 5pm to midnight on each day, and has a limited capacity of 30,000 over the two days.

The event will feature both a live stage and a main stage, with Luciano headlining day one (30 July), and Fanciulli wrapping up day two (31 July).

A number of environmentally-friendly measures will be integral to the Ibiza Global Festival – such as the use of recyclable cups – with the event described as ‘ the first time a 100% eco-focused electronic music festival will take place on the Balearic island’.

“We are very excited to be launching Ibiza Global Festival, the island’s first sustainable music festival,” said Daniele Luppino, CEO of Ibiza Global Radio.

“Ibiza has always been a leader for electronic music, and now is the time we lead the way for sustainable events. This event is from the people of Ibiza, for the island.”

And best of all, it’s completely FREE. 🙂
