Dave Lazenby has always been obsessed by music. He spent all his pocket money as a boy on the on the punk, electronica and new wave music of the day and has never stopped searching for the latest gems since. He got used to being asked asked to “turn it down” as a very young age and was the lad who gave all his mates mix tapes to introduce them to the latest music.
His 20s and 30s were spent travelling the length and breadth of the UK to clubs such as Back to Basics in Leeds, Fabric, Turnmills and Ministry of Sound in London and Gatecrasher in his home city of Sheffield. Plus, of course, regular and numerous pilgrimages to the white isle.
His musical style is heavily influenced by his favourite DJ’s, Sasha and John Digweed. Expect sets with an edge, with spacey like soundscapes and crunchy percussion, but retaining the funk.
House music all night long.
