Optimo’s legendary Hogmanay parties have been a staple of the Glasgow bacchanalian calendar since 1999 and after two years online it’s returning in real life this 31st December at Room 2 in Glasgow.
They’re over the moon to be back and taking music lovers into 2023, Optimo style. Joining them on the night will be Glasgow party starters and soon-to-be household names Pleasure Pool. They recently released their stunning debut LP Love Without Illusion on Optimo Music, a dazzling complete expression of their intoxicating sound and vision.
Optimo’s Hogmanay party will also serve as a fundraiser for Glasgow food banks and food pantries with a proportion of all funds raised donated. This has long been a cause close to their hearts and is perhaps more pressing than ever before as more and more Glaswegians face extreme difficulties, especially at this time of year.
