With 34 years of being at the forefront of the music movement in San Francisco, 1015 Folsom takes things to the next level by revealing a brand new state-of-the-art sound system in partnership with audio-visual company JK Sound. Esteemed DJs Adriatique and Marino Canal will play 1015 Folsom’s 34th Anniversary Party on Sunday, Oct 15, 2023.
Elevating the clubbing and live music experience for their customers, 1015 Folsom has installed a sleek, powerful, d&b audiotechnik four-corner array that has been custom built & tuned by experts to carry on the venue’s legacy of high-quality & impactful musical performances that are second to none.
“Our sound has always been the shining jewel of our space. It is how the artists translate their artistry to the fans who come to see them, so making sure that we deliver the highest-quality audio possible remains at the top of our checklist,” 1015 Folsom’s Noah Bennett explains.
He adds, “The venue has been reimagined once again with a state-of-the-art, specially-designed, D&B sound system in partnership with the legendary San Francisco-based JK Sound. This unique hybrid setup is tuned for both large-scale live bands and DJs, making 1015 Folsom the premiere destination for a new emerging class of artists as well as legacy acts. No venue in San Francisco its size boasts a more eloquent and mighty array of sonic architecture.”
Always striving to stay ahead of the curve of both audio & visual experiences, when it comes to their main room, the potential for new and exciting productions is endless. For the visual aspect of every event, a massive array of moving light fixtures allows their production team to find creative new locations & patterns which include a custom-mapped 4-corner laser system that cuts through the first and second levels of the room and a massive LED wall & DJ booth facade for custom visuals throughout the night.
With the customer’s experience at the forefront of what they do, 1015 Folsom has made massive transformations to the venue to create a comfortable & unforgettable atmosphere. Over the past four years, they’ve completely redesigned the front room area that connects to the main room by relocating the bar to open up the dance floor space. This allows the two environments to work in tandem for concertgoers to enjoy music from either location without the worry of not having room to move around and dance.
Massive upgrades to their VIP terrace area such as expanding the space and installing glass walls around the perimeter of the terrace allow a more intimate and premium experience for both VIP customers and general admission customers when it’s open for a standing room event. Their upstairs mezzanine that overlooks the main room now allows fans to enjoy a full 280-degree overlook from above, while also having the ability to raise their soundproof walls to create a completely separate experience for concertgoers in their upstairs KLUB room to offer more diversity in music options to patrons.
